This is a wonderful bookstore- always one of the highlights
of our frequent visits to Santa Barbara. Well do I remember
the year they had most of Rafael
Sabatini's books for sale- I brought home a boxload! Good prices, great inventory
that turns over rapidly; and once a year they have a big sale.
They are right next door to a high-end antiquarian art book store, Sullivan-Goss. |

A good place to browse; much bigger than it
looks, with a wide range of books and good prices.
In fact, Main Street in Ventura is well worth an afternoon's visit, with this store, the Phantom Bookshop and many antiques stores and restaurants all within a few blocks of each other. |

An antiquarian bookstore that specializes in art books. They have a
wonderful collection, and include illustrated books as well. I also love
their art prints!
Their web page has huge backgrounds and photos-if you have a slower computer, it will take a while to load. They are right next to The Book Den. |
