Take one piece and fold it in half.

Thread the fold in the middle of that piece through a loop at the end of wherever you're putting the fringe so the fold sticks through about half an inch.

Take the two ends of the fringe and put them through the fold in the same direction and pull them all the way through and tight.

Do this over and over, always threading the two ends of each piece through in the same direction as the two ends of all the other pieces (front to back or back to front).
