From the book of the same name by Robert
Ludlum
Matt Damon is rescued from the ocean with amnesia, and the only clue to his identity is the number of a safe deposit box that contains a lot of suspicious stuff... I really like Matt Damon, he's done some excellent work (Talented Mr. Ripley for one, and also Dogma), and he was pretty good in this too; although there was not much chemistry between him and Franka Potente, they both did a fine job with their parts. Enough explosions and plot twists to keep the movie going, a good ending, and Chris Cooper as the guy behind the scenes running it all. Not a bad choice for an afternoon at the movies. |
