Two Edwardian gentlemen masquerade as the fictitious Ernest to woo the women they love.

Haven't read the play, but Mr. Otter says they stuck to the script, although obviously the film medium let them get away with a lot more than is in the play. Colin Firth was wonderful, I'm thinking he may be a serious honey after all, stay tuned. Rupert Everett was also cute, but is not aging well...and of course Reese Witherspoon. Now THERE'S a honey.

Lovely production, very light-hearted, short and sassy, a real treat.
