So for years I've had a dvd set of twenty science fiction movies, which I got very cheaply, and which I knew had to be the worst movies ever...and Mr. Hair found this set in our dvd collection while he was visiting...and pounced on it.

First we tried to find these movies in some of our movie guides...of course none of them was in there. So we picked this one kind of randomly...and was it ever random.

Martin Balsam was in this hideously bad Italian movie, with his voice dubbed BACK into english by another actor, so even his lips didn't quite match up with the dialogue...and what dialogue! Here's a snippet from IMDB, which an astute viewer posted:

Man in Black: Silence is best for us until we are able to prove that the UFOs have no bellicose motives.

Military Type: In any event I find your interference abusive.

Man in Black: Whoever has to impose his will is.

Now I have to say, I didn't notice this exchange, but on the other hand, this movie was SO awful that I crocheted in self-defense. The line we kept quoting was something like this: Martin Balsam is dragged in front of the police/army/thug guy who is in charge of investigating the UFO incidents that are happening (and randomly killing or not killing people, no sense whatever to it) and the police guy (who has taken Balsam's friends into custody already) says something like, Now you must tell us what they do not know...omg. We were in hysterics.
