A girl returns to her home town in Mexico after going away to college; her old boyfriend is waiting for her, but nobody expects her to bring her new fiance home with her.

This was silly fun, not a great musical but it did have a few moments interspersed among a bunch of pretty dull plot lines. The dances and costumes are pretty good, Jorge Negrete (a Mexican movie star) was wonderful, the "city boy" fiancee (George Givot) was amusing. Good for msting if you've a mind to, but that's as far as it goes.
