Okay, I'm watching a lot of Will Smith* movies here, wanna make something of it? I thought not...you like them too, don't you?

This was cute, and actually better than I expected. Hitch is an engaging character, and it's made clear that his job is not to get guys laid, but rather to help them get through the first three dates without falling on their faces; after that, keeping the girl interested is up to them.

He falls for a woman who wants nothing to do with him and must woo her, which he does charmingly but of course things go wrong. The courses of a couple of romances that he has set up are paralleled with his own, and as expected, all ends pretty well for pretty much everybody.

Lightweight but satisfying, this movie doesn't take the easy way out and has some pretty good things to say about love, romance and the current mode of dating. A good evening's entertainment. Especially with (oh, I'm drooling again) Will Smith in it...
