In many ways, as good as the first Iron Man movie was, I liked this better.

For one thing, the plot didn't take quite so long to get going; Mickey Rourke is right there, being a bad guy from the start. And OOOH! Electric whips! OOOH! very cool.

Also, having Tony racing the clock with his power source poisoning him was good theater.

I also liked the bad guy, Justin Hammer, played by Sam Rockwell. He was a good combination of evil and funny, well done. And Don Cheadle! what a cast.

So a well-paced, interesting story; a couple of babes in tight outfits; a bad guy with electric whips...what more do you need?

How about a Serious Honey? Yes, Otterfans, it's finally happened: Robert Downey Jr. has finally been promoted to Serious Honey. And he was totally droolworthy, in this movie. I even went back and watched IM1 again, just to see if it was me or Downey that had changed...it was him. He was cute in the first one, but not quite Serious Honey material...what was different in the second movie? Dunno, but I sure hope it keeps happening...yowza!

Watch and enjoy. Come on over, we'll spend the evening drooling together...
