From the play by Terence McNally
Eight gay friends spend most of the summer together in an old house in upstate New York. Predictable, a nice story, some good lines, some cute butts. John Glover's role as the good/bad twin completely saves this picture from being another post-AIDS tale of self-pity and woe...he is so much fun to watch that he really adds a lot of zest to the script. Nothing out of the ordinary, but good to see once. |
