A mildly amusing farce. Powell and Loy are wonderful as always, although she isn't really given much scope here; by the middle of the picture, Powell has stolen the show. The part where he's acting crazy and then trying to break out of the asylum are priceless, and worth the movie rental, as is the scene in the apartment afterwards.

Having said that, this is still not much of a much; the plot is even more idiotic and unbelieveable than most of these farces, and if William Powell just weren't so darn cute, it wouldn't be watchable.

Lightweight fluff with a few good moments.
