OK, here's the plot, but you won't believe it:
Betty sees two hit men kill
her scummy husband, retreats into a fantasy about
an actor on a soap opera,
whose character she now thinks is a real person,
and leaves in her husbands
car (full of drugs) (the car, not betty) to find
him...meanwhile, the hit
men, who have to return the drugs to their boss,
embark on their own
odyssey in pursuit of her...and it just gets
wierder from there, folks,
truly.
Um. Well. Quirky is a good word. Just plain damn
strange is another,
although there were enough interesting bits to keep
me from turning it
off...well, ok, let's be honest, who cares what
it's about when Morgan
Freeman is in it? serious honey, you betcha. Chris
Rock was cute and mouthy
(as always) and Greg Kinnear and Renee Zellweger
were also good...but it
was just a tad over the line of too strange to
really work well.
Don't take my word for it, watch it yourself, you
never know, you might
like it better than I did...and even if you didn't,
how can two hours with
Morgan Freeman be wasted time?
