Hope and Crosby as a couple of adventurers trying to get out of South Africa and Dorothy Lamour and Una Merkle as the girls they find along the way.

Not as good as Road to Singapore, but there are a couple of nice musical numbers, and a few amusing plot twists. Mostly this one reinforces the schtick that was laid down in the first: the 'patty cake' routine, Crosby taking advantage of Hope and getting the girl, the repartee, that kind of thing.

Also fairly politically incorrect, seen from 60 years later, but certainly not as offensive as many things Mickey Rooney perpetrated in the same decade, such as the 'minstrel show' number in Babes in Arms or his part in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Mildly amusing, watch it if you're a fan of either Road movies or Hope and Crosby...but there are better flicks to see, for both.
