The AGVAPSNBA* was in session, and our theme was Funny Musicals. The Ent brought this one, which none of the five of us had seen, and we all thought it was a winner!

Rainn Wilson (whom I think of as very creepy, having only seen him in Six Feet Under) was great as the office worker who coulda been someone, ragingly envious of the huge success of the band he was kicked out of, and determined to recreate the missed glory of the past.

Seeing Rainn Wilson as a talented but slightly dorky and very obsessed rock drummer was priceless. The actors playing the high school kids were really good, and the whole movie was a treat, very fun to watch. We all applauded The Ent for bringing it.
