Shrek is an ogre who agrees to rescue a princess in order to save his swamp.

This is one of the best animated movies I've ever seen...not only for the quality of the animation, but the character development, the humor, and the great storyline. Yup, it's gross; I originally saw it in the theatre with two women friends and Mr. Otter and there were many 'EEEWWWWW!' noises coming from all three of them...nonetheless, it's very very funny. And charming. And kinda romantic. And girls get to kick butt, I liked that too.

Go see it, you'll be glad you did.
